The History of
Weiler Labeling Systems

Since 1990, Weiler Labeling Systems has been a pioneer in labeling technology.

Weiler Labeling Systems, LLC was founded in 1990 as Sancoa Labeling Systems. In July of 2001 we became Weiler Labeling Systems LLC. Our vision from the inception remains unchanged. That is to provide innovation and technology that allows our customers within the pharmaceutical and personal care industries to enhance their line speed, quality and efficiency. This vision has repeatedly positioned Weiler on the forefront of industry trends often well before these trends have become widely accepted in the marketplace.

Our firsts to market are:

  • All systems utilize non-proprietary electronics
  • A reduced size Rotary is designed and patented for specific use in Pressure Sensitive labeling systems
  • Servomotor label heads become our standard in 1990 and result in a patent
  • Rotary Labeling is introduced to the Pharmaceutical Industry in 1991
  • A non-vacuum outserter utilizing a servo driven star wheel is patented in 1991
  • Standardization of a Touch Screen Computer for labeling systems in 1994
  • A vial labeler utilizing a trunnion roller assembly for high speed labeling in 1995

Our early advancements were the driver of our growth from an initial four employees to over fifty and is responsible for our pre-eminent position as the leader in our chosen markets. We have become a world-class manufacturer and will continue to innovate and develop the packaging technologies of tomorrow. Weiler supports its products like no one in the industry.
