Weiler Announces new Pharmaceutical Capper, Continues its Focused Strategy for Pharmaceutical Companies

Moorestown, NJ., July 20, 2002-Weiler Labeling Systems a leading provider of High Speed Labeling Systems, today announced a commitment to broaden its product offering to the Pharmaceutical Industry with a series of Rotary High Speed Cappers. This new offering allows Weiler to further provide complimentary equipment to our existing line of High Speed Labelers.

The capper is being offered with a range of 4 to 28 heads depending on the speed requirements. Capping speed of 600 per minute are easily achieved making it the highest speed pharmaceutical capper available in the marketplace today. Torque control is maintained at these high speeds using highly accurate magnetic clutches which allow verification of the applied force.

The capper features all non-proprietary electronics and includes a Color CTC Touch screen with architecture, that is identical to our labeler. The capper, like all Weiler equipment, is designed for quick changeover between products and minimal maintenance. A "True Soft" product eject and sampling station is optionally available.
