The VR-72 is ideal for bottle applications. With its high speed and precise labeling application of a film or paper pressure sensitive label on to round containers in a continuous fashion, the WLS VR in-line labeler combines a modular platform with a breakthrough vertical roller track design that references the container sidewall for consistent and accurate label placement via a vacuum drum applicator. The VR fully synchronized electronic drive train also allows for ease of operation and fast changeovers via HMI-based recipe control. This construction ensures years of trouble free operation at the highest efficiency levels and minimal maintenance requirements. The VR comes with a zero-access guarding package, which meets the most stringent safety standards and can be configured with a variety of options, such as a single or redundant label head(s), removable rollers (for quick container size and pitch changes), label coding and inspection (including serialized codes), RFID tags integration, patented Reconciler feature, 21CFR Part 11 and CE compliance. The WLS patented Reconciler removes, counts and rewinds rejected labels prior to their application on to a container.
On this video, the VR-72 is labeling bottles at 200ppm. This particular machine includes only one X-5 label head for front and back label application with laser coding and inspection camera, and a vacuum drum to control both labels and bottles during label application. Watch the HR as it labels auto-injectors or other medical devices that are loaded onto the labeler using robotic arms.
The RL-420 rotary labeler is designed to accurately label 5 panels on plastic bottles at high speeds.
Working at speeds up to 200 ppm, the RL-420 is capable of labeling plastic bottles with a sidesert quickly and seamlessly.
The RL-420 rotary labeler has the ability to precisely match a label serialized code to a pre-printed bottle helper code before the labeler exit.
The RL-420 rotary labeling machine is designed to read a bottle helper code, label and apply sideserts to plastic bottles as well as re-orient them before the labeler exit.
