VR-72 on Vial Line at 600ppm

The VR-72 is ideal for vial applications. With its ultra-high speed and precise labeling application of a film or paper pressure sensitive label on to round containers in a continuous fashion, the WLS VR in-line labeler combines a modular platform with a breakthrough vertical roller track design that references the container sidewall for consistent and accurate label placement via a vacuum drum applicator. The VR fully synchronized electronic drive train also allows for ease of operation and fast changeovers via HMI-based recipe control. This construction ensures years of trouble free operation at the highest efficiency levels and minimal maintenance requirements. The VR comes with a zero-access guarding package, which meets the most stringent safety standards and can be configured with a variety of options, such as a single or redundant label head(s), removable rollers (for quick container size and pitch changes), label coding and inspection (including serialized codes), RFID tags integration, patented Reconciler feature, 21CFR Part 11 and CE compliance. The WLS patented Reconciler removes, counts and rewinds rejected labels prior to their application on to a container.

On this vial line video, vial accumulation and drying is completed prior to the VR-72 labeling on 2cc vaccine vials at 600ppm. This particular machine includes a X-5 label head with laser coding and inspection camera, our WLS Reconciler to remove rejected labels prior to application, a vacuum drum to control the labels and vials during label application, followed by vial accumulation after labeling.
